Inviting Freelancers

OOO is built to help you work with external talent without chaos, spreadsheets, or one-off onboarding every time.

OOO Tip: A branded invite dramatically increases completion rates and trust from freelancers.

Before you send any invites

Take 10 minutes to set the foundation — these settings only need to be done once:

1. Upload your logo and branding in Settings

2. 2. Review the default onboarding email freelancers will receive

3. 3. Upload standard documents (NDAs, MSAs) if you have them

This ensures freelancers get a clean, professional experience from your org — not a generic OOO email.

How to invite from Roster

Invite one at a time via email, or upload a CSV to invite multiple people at once.

What freelancers experience

They receive an email from your org (not a generic OOO blast) saying they've been invited to join your roster. From there, they complete a short profile. Their information is visible only to your org — they are not added to the global public network.

Once added, freelancers appear in Event Studio recommendations relevant to your org, can be considered for Opportunities you post, and update their own info anytime so your roster stays current automatically.

If the freelancer is already in OOO

Even faster. They simply accept the invite and their existing profile is pulled into your org — no duplicate setup, no re-onboarding.

When you need talent outside your roster

Use Concierge inside an Opportunity. OOO hand-selects relevant talent, invites them to apply, and you review candidates. A one-time service fee applies the first time you hire through Concierge — after that, they move into your roster and you work directly. See How Concierge Works for the full flow.
